Crab Lock - 2021 #2
This crab lock, inspired by historical locks, is designed at a scale to be more useful on a small chest. The mechanism features two tumblers which requires both to be moved, by the key, in order to be unlocked. This extra security feature makes it is harder to pick. The drill pin, for the key, has been left long to pass through the front of the chest. The catch plate has three mounting holes to add to its strength. An escutcheon for the chest is included. The lock has been given a dark scale patina and coated with carnauba wax.
